Effective PowerPoint Want to use PowerPoint effectively in the classroom, but not sure how to go about it?
PowerPoint
can be a valuable classroom tool if used correctly – or a nightmare of
distractions and boring slides if not.
In Effective PowerPoint, we will discuss good vs. bad
PowerPoint design. You will
learn how to recognize problems in your own presentations and discover
ways to improve them. We will
also go over the techniques for designing an effective PowerPoint
presentation from scratch. There
will be a question and answer session, and if time permits, a short
“How-To” demonstration on adding simple graphics, animation, and
sound. You are welcome to
bring your own PowerPoint projects to work on with TLC staff after the
workshop is over. As always, dessert will be provided! Sorry this workshop has passed.
